1936 S/42 I got this 1936 S/42 P08 from a fellow member of my local gun association. He had kept it since the end of WWII and he had heard that I was on the lookout for a 9mm pistol. As my permit got through he brought it to one of our meetings and said it was for sale, a couple of other guys were interested as well, so I had to make a quick decision. I was lucky and he chose to sell it to me. The Luger was delivered in its original 1936 holster with two matching magazines. The holster has the name of the WWII owner written on the inside of the flap. All the parts on the Luger itself are matching, and the bluing and grips are in good condition. The strawing is not 100%, but I like to keep it this way. I learned from the forum here that the rear sight had been opened up. A pity that it is not 100% because of this modification, but it is nevertheless a very nice P08. I shoot it once in a while, and compared to my other guns it performs really well. One really must appreciate the quality of the workmanship put into these classic firearms. You don«t find many guns with such look and feel. Oyvind L. (Leonsen)
